A hot dude ranch in February beats a bunch of snow in Virginia…
Researching the idea of being a cowboy (or cowgirl) was the easy part. Lot’s of options to choose from. Talking to my travel companions, Arizona was the favorite choice since someone in the group had never been to the Grand Canyon!
This railway provides an excellent way to the canyon.
Cowboys here robbed the train just like in the old west.
Warm inside but very cold outside...just like what was left behind.
Sunrise over the canyon is spectacular!
Morning "Glory" and a well lit canyon melted the coldness of the day.
A trip for me is not complete without a Harley stop.
On to Tucson February warmth and becoming a cowperson (cowboy/cowgirl)…
A real Western Parade was a fun event.
Lots of horses in the lot!
Getting instructions and TESTING was part of the package!
Trail guide and supplies for a day long adventure.
Variety of cacti along the trail.
Food on the fire for lunch.
Ending the dude ranch with friendly competition…
